Unlike Dr Malhotra, I knew the alleged vaccines were bent long before I saw the real world data. Those who’ve followed me know how I knew.
However, like Dr Malhotra, I was blind - was it wilful? I don’t know - about the wider situation, until I wasn’t.
By “situation”, I mean the horrible realisation that the industry I worked in for over 30 years is willing & able to actively miss-sell anything it can. In research where I was centred, there was no question that everyone sought to discover, test & occasionally advance into eariy clinical trials with compounds called such things as “medicinal candidates”.
On many occasions, we were unable to take a compound forward into Phase I (healthy volunteers) because an absolutely required feature or property was absent. This could be anything from insufficient potency such that the expected effective dose was too large to be acceptable, or the toxicology was indicative of too low a safety margin, the difference between an effective dose & a toxic overdose, and myriad other possible flaws. On no occasions did my employer take forward a compound where it was clear to those with decades of experience that it would fail. Not only were my former colleagues uninterested in anything mad like that, but we were our own best critics. Some of my peers would be quietly pleased if my therapy area underperformed by losing a program or an actual compound in development. Most would be as disappointed as I was. My point is it’s impossible to pull the wool over each other’s eyes. Official peer review was routine & informal criticism also operated. People compete for resources.
I am guessing that the company wants great medicines because they’re easier to sell. What I didn’t appreciate is that they’ll automatically push the envelope to maximise the market size, illicitly promote into clinical uses for which the clinical evidence didn’t exist, often by using “key opinion leaders” to write up & lecture about these wider possibilities. I think the worst aspect is burying bad clinical safety data, it looks like even falsifying or burying concerning data is a policy tool.
I now think my own standards blinded me to what late-stage clinical development & especially post-approval studies were being used for.
It’s hard to see as a pattern something you know you wouldn’t allow to happen once, let alone do routinely as a way to operate.
Taking the systematic corruption of the wealthiest pharmaceutical companies; stir in total abandonment of the purpose of the regulators like FDA & replace with corrupt relationships between FDA & drug companies, amp up the readiness of previously great scientific & medical journals to pass for publication all sorts of false evidence; force treatment guidelines to encompass your new drug (recall those KOLs above?); use the power of central registration of doctors to lean on prescribers to write more scripts & so on, without limit; these hallmarks of a completely failed sysyem.
Gradually, over the COVID era, I’ve come to the conclusion that we’re way beyond fixing the problems in “healthcare”. These include big pharma of course but they’re certainly not limited to the drugs. Notice how millions of people have been actively bumped off in care homes, hospitals & even in your own home, by the simple expedient of prescribing inappropriately & at the wrong doses. Treatment guidelines serve to force doctors to do what they’re told rather than acting in your best interests. Large hospital groups crush dissenting medics. They work with insurers to further render impotent even well-intentioned doctors. The “standard of care” (what the treatment is for a given diagnosed illness) will be a rigid requirement by insurers & hospitals.
It’s all broken. The objective is of the medical system is full on tyrannical profit maximization. Your welfare simply isn’t a consideration. It’s that bad. I don’t think salvage let alone salvation is possible because every component within it has progressively been captured, at least two ways.
1. In relation to COVID & alleged treatments / “vaccines”, big pharma has exposed itself to those who can interpret what they’re doing is overtly criminal. They’re actively working to injure & kill as many people as they can get away with.
2. In the wider field of “healthcare”, the evidence is regrettably clear that big pharma has total contempt for its customers & prefers sickness that has to be managed to cures.
My recommendation is do not attend regular medical check ups. You simply don’t need them & you’ll not benefit from them. Drug companies will & they exploit the interactions between you & the healthcare system to get money out of you at cost of your wellbeing.
We’d do better to legislate to forcefully breakup big pharma. The net gain from blowing them up completely would be extraordinary. Not bringing new drugs to market could be argued as a loss. I think the net gain of changing the true focus back to meeting people’s genuine needs would be palpable. It would also suck out of Washington the fire hose amounts of lobbying money & reduce political corruption. The biggest bonus would be that medical expenditures & insurance premiums would crash & many more people would be able to afford their own insurance policy.
It’s a dream, of course. But you can start today by beginning to recalibrate your relationship with your own health & sever the abusive relationship between you, your doctor, pharma as well as with the legislature everywhere.
